And those of us who live in or visit these beautiful Northern Michigan areas on or near that magical, temperate, latitude line halfway between Equator and Pole know that life is different here — like it is in Bordeaux, France, also on the 45th. Frankly, we live here and visit here because we want to, because of the lifestyle.
